Our founder, Mamadou Diallo, knows this better than anyone. Growing up, soccer was his passion, but opportunities and resources were limited. At just 10 years old, he sold scraps
Virdial Sports was born from a simple belief — every athlete deserves access to elite-level training, no matter where they come from or what resources they have.
Our founder, Mamadou Diallo, knows this better than anyone. Growing up, soccer was his passion, but opportunities and resources were limited. At just 10 years old, he sold scraps of copper in his neighborhood to save enough money to buy his very first soccer ball. That moment sparked a lifelong dream — to play at the highest level and inspire others to do the same.
Mamadou’s dedication and relentless work ethic eventually earned him a Division One college soccer scholarship, where he played for St. Francis College in Brooklyn and California State University, Northridge. Along the way, he trained with elite coaches, played alongside professional players, and learned what it takes to perform at the top.
But throughout his journey, he noticed a problem:
Too many talented athletes never reach their potential because they lack access to quality coaching, personalized development, and affordable resources.
Driven by his passion to give back to the game and create opportunities for others, Mamadou founded Virdial Sports — a platform designed to bridge the gap between aspiring athletes and the tools, knowledge, and mentorship used at the highest levels.
From AI-powered training plans to personalized video feedback and one-on-one mentorship calls with professional players, Virdial Sports was built to level the playing field and make elite training affordable, accessible, and effective.
